I just moved to al-Azhar a few weeks ago and my life is changing. I’ve never been to the city and I am so excited to explore and experience the culture of the city. I am a first-time visitor to the city and I am a bit unsure of what to expect.

Well, it’s not exactly ruins, but rather a huge, sprawling complex filled with modern architecture. The buildings are gorgeous and the architecture is fantastic. To be honest, it is more of a modern city with a very traditional feel to it.
