This is a photo of my garden in October. This is my first attempt at a photo of my garden in the fall with the leaves peeking out of the ground.

I don’t know if this is a good idea. Most people do not have a lot of leaves to start planting in the fall. The leaves are still dropping, and you can’t plant the seed in the ground if the ground is still frozen. So I guess you can tell that my garden is at least a few months early.

Autumn is an interesting time of year. In the East, you can expect to see the leaves of the trees come out so that you can enjoy the fall colors. If it’s not too cold and you are not using a lot of chemical fertilizers, then you can actually see your plants come back after the first frost. In the Midwest, the leaves usually stay on for about a month.

I think that this is one of the best times of year to enjoy our own fall garden. There are so many plants in full bloom right now, and the soil is still warm enough that you can plant seeds.
