I’ve had dreams before, but they were pretty much the same and nothing really changed. Like the first time I dreamt of a wedding, or the second time I dreamt of eating an apple. They were pretty much the same, and so I started to get used to them.
But over the years I’ve grown to realize that dreams do change, and they often change in dramatic ways. In fact, I’d be willing to bet that, unlike most people I know, most of my dreams have been about something different. I always ask myself, “What dream will this be about?” and I’d probably see the same dream again, only that time it’s about something totally different.
There a lot of times in dreams that I have a recurring dream associated with a certain subject matter, or a recurring memory. What I love about dreams is that they tend to be about the way we tend to relate to certain things in our lives, or the way we tend to respond to stimuli, or the way we tend to act or react. When I dream, I tend to react to stimuli in certain ways, and that has a pretty dramatic effect on my life.
The dream has a wide variety of meanings, but it is an interesting one for me. A recurring dream means something like “dreams are always vivid,” something like “I dream… but I don’t experience the dream.” A recurring memory means a recurring memory. A recurring memory is a long-term memory.
