You might think you have a great idea, but when you get into the actual mechanics of the game you realize that it’s not quite as easy as you thought. This is why you shouldn’t try to make your game like Minecraft, because it turns out that there is a lot more to it than that.

That said, it is possible to make a game like this in a way that still manages to have a great game. It just takes a little more effort and planning. I can’t say I know much about games like Minecraft where you have to make everything from scratch, but I can say that a game like this can be done if you take the time to think about it deeply enough. My advice is to keep it simple.
