I’ve always been a fan of the Disney movies, but my favorite of the bunch is the classic movie “Miramax Crime.” This is not because of the movie itself, but because the movie itself is well known. It’s a great way to learn about the history, culture, and the people behind these movies. (This is especially true for those of you that are familiar with the world of crime fiction. They are my favorite movies.
But I’ll tell you about it for you. It’s a good crime movie. Not the best but not the worst. It’s not the scariest and it’s definitely not the most violent. It is, in fact, one of the best. I mean look at the way it tells the story. It follows a detective with a very unique and quirky personality. He is one of the most well written characters in crime fiction.
At one point, during the prologue scene we see a camera zoom out on a police car and we see the detective talking to a reporter. We even see him and the reporter on a date. And that is all the prologue we are ever told about the detective. Of course the story continues in the second half of the movie. Then we see the detective taking a call from the reporter. And as you can see he is in trouble.
At this point in the movie we are told that the detective has been taken into “The Dark”, a dark room where he can’t be seen by anyone, but the reporter is in there with him. And this is all the information we are ever given about this detective.
For those of you who are still not quite sure what a detective is, check out this picture of the man in the newsroom who took a call from the reporter. He isn’t very bright.
This is a good example of a detective who is not very bright. Most detectives are very smart and can tell you why things are happening. For example if a man calls a woman his wife it’s a very specific question. But the detective at the newsroom is a complete idiot. He cant even tell you why he has been called to an interview. All we have to go on is that he has been asked a specific question and it was a very specific question.
The reporter is just confused. She did not ask a specific question. The reporter is just confused. And to top it off, the detective is very good at answering questions. If you can answer a question correctly you automatically pass the detective. But the detective has not answered a single question. This is a bad detective so the reporter should just run.
This is a good reason to pay more attention to the character. It means that while it’s a good thing to be on Deathloop’s list of possible answers to the questions, it’s not a good thing to be on Deathloop’s list of possible answers to the questions as it would have been if you were on Deathloop’s list.
If you can answer the questions correctly, then you get a point. But that point only goes to the detective. The reporter still doesn’t get any points because she knows the answers to the questions. And that makes the detective feel bad. So the detective can lose points for not answering any questions. It makes the reporter feel bad and is not a good detective so the reporter should just run.
But is the reporter an idiot or something? Of course she knows those answers. She is a detective so she should know all the answers anyways, right? She doesnt know the answers because they dont exist on Deathloops list. But maybe she just doesnt have the answers because she doesnt know the questions. Thats what I’m trying to say here.
