I am a home painter. I take pride in painting my own house and have done for the last 20 years. There is no way that you can paint a house if you don’t take the time to paint it. I have painted over 100 homes over the last two decades. I have painted every color on those homes, but I had a rule when I started that I would only paint a certain amount of finishes.
The rule was simple, I never painted the outside of the home. So you can imagine my surprise the moment I walked into a home I did not paint.
You paint your house. You don’t paint the outside. That is the rule. I would have painted the inside if I had a choice. Not because I am lazy, I just didn’t think it was necessary. I had a friend who used to paint his house when he built his house and he said if you don’t paint the outside you can paint the inside as well. I thought that was a smart rule.
Well, in the case of the home I am talking about, I didn’t paint the outside, so I can’t speak to his rule. But you paint your home. If you do not paint the outside, you can paint the inside.
So, when you paint the outside your not just painting the outside, you are also painting the inside. To paint the inside is to paint the inside before paint is applied. In other words, if you paint the outside you already have to paint the interior as well.
Yeah, I think that this rule can apply to anywhere. We live in a home that is not painted at all. But, I can imagine it would be impossible to paint the inside before painting the outside. I mean, if you can see it, so can everyone else. So, I guess that could explain the rule of paint all around the home.
The rule doesn’t apply to your exterior walls. If you see a painting of the exterior walls before you paint the interior, then you don’t really need to make the interior as well. It’s easier to paint the exterior and then paint the interior at the same time.
The rule still applies to your home exterior because you can paint it the same day. So you can paint everything the same day and just leave the exterior walls bare, and then just paint the interior at a later time.
I think the rule applies to the exterior because paint is the major thing on my exterior walls, but I think it applies to the interior walls as well because you can paint the interior the same day and paint it the same day so you can paint the exterior the same day and paint it the same day so you can paint everything the same day. Now you have a set date and you can paint the exterior, paint the interior first, and then paint the exterior the same day.
That’s what the author of a self-help book recommends. I’ve never seen a person who thought of this before in the self-help industry. If you have the time then I’d recommend the book! You may not be able to do it in just one day, but by trying it you can at least take the first step to get you into the habit of doing it. The most important part is to make sure the project feels worth it in the first place.
