I’ve always been a fan of the “it’s impossible to be self-aware” line, but I’ve also always wondered if it’s possible to be self-aware in a computer. I’ve never been able to prove this for myself, but I’m willing to be proved wrong.
Well, I don’t know if its possible for a computer to be able to be self-aware, but it can be made to be. There are loads of open source projects that make it possible to program in a way that makes you aware of what you’re doing. The biggest one to look at is SUSE’s Redox, which is pretty much a self-aware operating system.
The problem with all these self-aware operating systems is that they try to make you aware of whatever you are doing, and so it seems to always be some problem or other. With a computer, it doesnt seem to have to be trying to tell you anything, just doing its job.
SUSEs Redox is an example of a self-aware operating system, but really, there are a lot more self-aware operating systems out there. Just to name a few: Google, Amazon, Facebook, Skype, Twitter, etc.
This is a really neat example. I’m not sure why you would want it, but that’s when you might think that it should be the one that you use most.
A person who doesn’t know what he’s talking about may not know he’s talking about something he has no control over.

Google, Amazon, Facebook, Skype, Twitter, etc.The Google is the only thing that makes a self-aware user of Google do what he has to do. It’s not just a Google that has to get all the other things he can find. It’s a Google that doesn’t know what to do, or what to do with it. It’s a Google who is self-aware.
When Google decided to go self-aware, it went a bit too far. It did some things that made it seem like Google was aware that it was running an operating system, but it didn’t make it clear that it was aware of what was going on inside its own machine.
That’s because Google is a computer that is aware of itself, not just of all the devices that run its OS. It also has a variety of hardware devices running its OS, and as such, Google was not aware that it was running Windows, for example, or that it had an application store for it.
