It is a popular snack in India and has been around for a long time. But you can’t get an Indian flat bread in America and I’m here to tell you that it’s not a good idea. It’s too sweet and doughy, and its consistency changes from one dish to the next.
The sarma is delicious. And yes, its Indian flat bread. Its also ridiculously easy to make and delicious. And as a vegetarian, its also a good food to eat when you don’t feel like cooking.
