This is the first time I’ve been able to use sushmita (the Sanskrit word for happiness) in a blog. I’m hoping this sushmita will be my way of encouraging people to be more conscious of their inner happiness and to enjoy more of their lives.
Ive had a lot of fun doing this. Ive done it a few times on the road.
I think it is so important to be happy. If you are not happy, you are not alive. It is so easy to become so busy with work and family and so consumed by the things you do not enjoy that you fail to appreciate the things you do. You may know that you should be happy with your job and your family, but not realize why you are not.
I mean, I just want to be happy, so you can be happy. It’s not a good thing to be unhappy, it’s not a good thing to be happy. It’s so easy to be unhappy just by being happy. So if you are not happy, then you are not alive.
That’s why we talk about the art of happiness, of making it a part of us.
If I have a kid who is not happy with me, ima just be like, “Why are you so unhappy? Let him have his fun, get a little happier, cause he sucks, he doesn’t do anything, he’s not anything”. And a lot of time they’ll be like, “Why you making fun of me?”.
Happyness, or feeling good about being alive and being able to fulfill your duties as a human, is something that is hard to keep in the forefront of life. It is something that we do not often reflect upon when we are feeling down. I see a lot of people struggling with mental health issues, and then, when they do, they feel like they are not actually living. It sounds a little sad.
I think it’s easier for people to feel happy about life once they are living it than to feel like they are not. And when you feel like you are not, you are the person who is not living. Just look at the people who are suffering from depression. It’s not that they are not living, it’s just that they are struggling in the ways they can’t think of a way to solve their problems. When they have a problem, they don’t think of solutions.
The truth is that there are some people who are capable of living, but they are not capable of living. It is more that they are in a state of mind that they are struggling with, and they are not capable of living. Its more that they have a problem, and they are struggling with it.
This is what I have been trying to explain above. Depression is a state of mind and a state of being. It is difficult to live in the moment and forget that there is a problem being faced. Depression can be a real problem because it can make you not want to do any of the things you normally would.
