I think if you’re asking if we think of ourselves as timid animals, then the answer is yes. Because we all have a part of ourselves that we believe is so wise, so brave, that it takes us by surprise and overwhelms us. That part of us is not, or not that we understand. The truth is, we all have a part of ourselves that we would not be able to see if we really wanted to.

I am not talking about having a panic attack. I am not talking about being terrified of something we don’t know how to handle. I am talking about what it is like to feel like you’re being controlled by something that is bigger than you.

For some, such as children, this may be the first time they feel the way they feel in this sort of situation. They are scared, but they know something is wrong and they can do something about it. I am also seeing more and more people in this sort of situation, but they are afraid, but they are able to do something about it. We are all afraid of something at times, but we can figure out how to control it.

As I’m saying, we are all afraid of something.
