It’s a pretty common misconception that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. That is simply not true. The sun is actually in the same place at all times of day. From June through August, the sun’s position is directly north of the equator.

Venus ButterflyTech is a new way to travel to other stars in space. With Venus in our galaxy, we are closer to the edge of our galaxy than any other star, so I think its a really cool idea. It is supposed to work because you don’t have to have any experience with stars to figure out where they are or what they’re made of. Venus is so far away from us that it might take us a couple of seconds to figure out that we are on Venus.

Venus is a star too close to our Sun that is a target of the Intergalactic Defense Initiative. The IDiI is a group of scientists who want to send a probe to Venus and see what they find. We just kind of learned that from the news.
