The Garden State Parkway and the state highway i-280 come together at the Garden State Parkway, and this is where the Garden State Parkway, I-280, and the Garden State Parkway-I-280 merge. This makes for a beautiful, scenic drive every morning and evening.

I-280 is the only one of those two routes that is completely signed. It is also the only one that is not completely straight. There are many dead ends that have been added over the years. I-280 is also a two-lane road with a one-lane center median.

One of the best ways to gauge the traffic and congestion on I-280 is to look at where it intersects with I-75. This intersection is heavily congested with traffic both directions of the route. But because it is heavily congested, it is not necessary to drive through it to get to the other side.
