One of the best things about yoga is that it keeps you on your toes! The poses are challenging and the mind-releasing energy that comes with them is definitely worth it.
I’ve never been a big fan of yoga, but it has gotten me into the habit of taking time to practice. Whether it’s sitting on a mat every morning, doing a few poses every day, or just staring at a wall, I’ve found it to be more beneficial than a lot of other forms of exercise.
The truth is that yoga is a lot like yoga to me. Everyone’s different and it’s all about finding what works for you. For me, I like the poses that are challenging but not so much that I’m forced to stop. Other people like the poses that just feel really good and do nothing to the muscles.
Im not 100% on what works with each person, but I do think that some form of structured practice is very beneficial. I’d be lying if I said that yoga makes me feel better, but maybe it makes me feel more like myself and less like I’m on autopilot. Just think of it like a form of exercise where you are taking exercise in new ways instead of just punching the air.
