I think that there is some overlap between self-awareness and yoga. I think the main difference is the type of yoga that you do. If you do yoga to get better at your cardio, you would probably be more interested in the poses that work your core and upper body. The difference between a self-aware person and one who just thinks about it a lot is that the self-aware person is more likely to get the information that helps him get on the path to being able to self-manage his life. I think it is quite possible to learn self-awareness by following your own routines. I think that when you do that, you learn to be aware of your thoughts, feelings, and your body.

I have heard that the self-aware person is an expert at understanding the body’s subtle messages. I’m not so sure. Being aware of your body’s signals is a lot of work, and in some ways it’s a lot harder to do while you’re in a routine. When I was a kid, I used to go to sleep with my bedroom door ajar, which is a very good habit to get into.

That’s true, but it also means that you’ll have to spend a lot of time thinking about what you’re doing and how to adapt. Maybe once you do, you’ll start to have some self-awareness.
