Swan Lake is South Carolina’s largest lake and is home to the nation’s largest population of black swans. According to the Wikipedia article, there are around 40,000 black swans that live there. Swans are very social and often hang out with other swans. The whole area is a paradise for swans because it’s nestled in the woods and there are lots of water, water fountains, and plenty of places to play.

I mean who doesn’t like a lake? The lake has some pretty awesome features to it because there’s a lot of water, a bunch of water fountains, and it’s close to a lot of the best golf courses in the area. It’s also close to two cities: Charlotte and Myrtle Beach. I think if anything a lake like this would be a great place to visit if you’re ever in the area.

Swans are a big part of the Carolina charm. Swans are a part of the North Carolina landscape and they are the state bird. So being close to a lot of water and tons of fountains really makes it feel like youre in heaven.
